How Skwiz handles your data. Short version: your images never leave your machine.

Overview

Skwiz ("we," "our," or "us") is a Framer plugin built by Studio SHMP. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Image Processing

All image processing happens entirely in your browser. Skwiz uses Google Squoosh's WebAssembly encoders (MozJPEG, libwebp, oxipng) to compress and convert images. No images are ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. Your files never leave your machine.

Data We Collect

Skwiz itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or image data. However, the following third-party services are used:

  • LemonSqueezy — processes payments and manages subscriptions. When you purchase Skwiz, LemonSqueezy collects your name, email, and payment information as described in their privacy policy
  • Framer — Skwiz runs inside the Framer editor. Framer's own data practices are governed by Framer's privacy policy

Cookies

The Skwiz website (skwizforframer.com) does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking tools.

Analytics

We do not collect analytics on plugin usage, image sizes, compression ratios, or any other usage data from the plugin itself.

Data Storage

Any settings you configure in Skwiz (such as compression presets or "Remember Settings" preferences) are stored locally in your browser via Framer's plugin storage API. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing and license management
  • Google Fonts — font delivery for this website (DM Sans, JetBrains Mono)
  • Framer API — plugin communication within the Framer editor

Children's Privacy

Skwiz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Skwiz after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
